This stunning autumn wedding unfolded on a picturesque family estate just outside Sacramento, California. The event’s thoughtful design, paired with soft sage tones, created a warm and intimate atmosphere. A personal touch was added by incorporating chestnuts from the couple’s family business. These personal details made the celebration even more meaningful and unique.
What I loved most about this wedding was its relaxed, down-to-earth vibe. The couple extended the cocktail hour to ensure they had time to connect with all their guests. The entire celebration felt like a luxurious yet cozy family reunion. They got ready at their parents’ homes and tied the knot at their local catholic church. The reception took place in a beautiful family-owned slate blue barn that accommodated all of their family and friends.
This wedding is the perfect example of how important it is to have vendors who understand your vision and personality. As you scroll through these images you’ll notice how each detail is cohesive and personal. It’s so valuable to my couples when they can relax and enjoy their wedding weekend. My goal as a wedding photographer is to add to the energy and experience when capturing each moment.
I recently just moved to the Lake Tahoe area from the East Coast so I am forever grateful for Liz Zimbelman Photo for asking me to second shoot this wedding for her. I am also thankful that she willingly to let me use these images on my website to show that I’m now transitioning from east coast to west coast weddings!
