I first met Kelsey when I photographed her as a bridesmaid in her cousin’s wedding last year. We got to know Kelcey & Jared better after my husband and I had a fantastic engagement shoot where we experienced the location that Jared asked Kelsey to be his wife, near the Bay. They’re, hands down, one of the easiest couples to talk with, making our job feel like a mini-vacation. We ended the shoot with some dreamy beach silhouette photos against a sky on fire from the setting sun.
Fast forward to the momentous occasion with an enchanting venue, BEAUTIFUL gown, and wonderful wedding party. Such an awesome wedding with such friendly guests and an amazing vendor team! Jared & Kelcey’s families are so incredibly warm. Jared’s parents even invited my husband and I to sit with them at their table during dinner!
When I first heard that she and Jared were planning their own wedding on November 7th, I could almost feel the shivers and chattering teeth. But, amazingly, the sun came out and Summer decided to return briefly for their most special day so far! I could not believe how fast time had flown. The year is almost over and warm weather is far behind us, but when I think of 2020, I’ll always remember the warmth these two brought with them. Thank you Kelcey & Jared for shining your light on what could be seen as a sometimes darker year. Here’s to your future as a bright-shining couple!
