I still remember the good ol’ days when we would all play dress up together and pretend it was one of our weddings, and now Joanna’s day is finally approaching! Time flies by so quickly, and it is a privilege that I get to capture moments in time for a living… especially when it’s your sister!

I shed a few happy tears while taking and editing these photographs. Knowing that your sister has found a man that cares so deeply for her is everything a sibling could ask for! I loved capturing the way Joanna would light up when henry would hold and kiss her. There is nothing more beautiful than two people in love.

Henry’s family owns a dairy farm in southern PA. Joanna and Henry have worked together for several years at the farm, but that wasn’t how they met. Henry was the boy next door. Our families met only a handful of times throughout many years of living near one another. It wasn’t until my husband, being best friends with Henry and his brother, started bring them around that Joanna and Henry’s friendship bloomed. Joanna and Henry were friends for years, but we all suspected that someday they would become more <3
