Last week my family spent a couple days together on our annual (I say annual, but really, we’ve only done it one other time) FAKATION! It’s like a staycation, but Foster style… meaning that it’s a crazy few days of children running around screaming, all of us talking over one another, playing games, loud laughter, photoshoots, and karaoke! It’s by far one of the best weeks of the year!
This year we decided to get updated family photos. Believe me, we needed them. I think that our last family photoshoot was about four years ago and since then, there’s been four marriages and lots more babies! What a crazy hour it was grouping everyone together to get the “perfect” photos. But it was totally worth it. I will cherish these pictures forever and especially the ones where my siblings are laughing and just being themselves.
I cannot believe how far the Lord has brought us: through storms of broken bones and multiple hospitalizations, over mountaintops of peaceful eras, and down the valley of the shadow of death. Our family has changed in more ways than one throughout the years. We have lost and we have gained, but God has remained ever faithful to us.
Thank you for taking the time to look through these and I hope you enjoy them!
Our family photoshoot from a little less than four years ago; so much has changed. Remembering my dear sister-in-law in this photo who went to be with the Lord two years ago. You will forever be in our hearts and we miss you so much <3
